Experience

Lawyer specialising in corporate law and concessions. He was responsible for the professional consultation of the first private companies to take part in public works concessions in Chile, an important part of the commercial and economic activity in the country. Enrique has worked as the Director of several companies, and has assessed important national and international companies in civil, commercial and tributary matters.

In the infrastructure and concessions industries, he has sat on arbitral and mediation commissions resolving controversies between the State and individual entities.

Carolina Alcalde

Francisco Valdivia Villagrán

Lawyer specialized  in tax law, tax consulting and administrative and legal defense, both in audit procedures and in litigation before the Chilean Internal Revenue Service and  the Chilean Tax and Customs Courts. He has experience in  legal proceedings before the Chilean Court of Appeals and the Supreme Court. Also advises on planning and management in all kinds of tax matters, to both companies and individuals. Expert in tax compliance as well as prevention procedures and negotiation, with the tax authorities and municipalities. He joined the firm in 2015, having previously worked in the Chilean Internal Revenue Service (2007–2011) and as Supervisor of the Tax & Legal Department at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PWC)
(2011–2015).

He has also served as professor of tax law and accounting in different universities. In addition he has served as instructor in  various
specialized courses.

Mariano Vidal-Tolosana Tornes
(1922–2014)

Experience

A Spanish lawyer with extensive knowledge of civil, commercial and international law, Mariano also held prestigious roles in the diplomatic field in which he held the positions of Minister-Counsellor of the Spanish Embassy in Santiago, Chile; and Ambassador of the Order of Malta in Santiago, Chile.

He was awarded the Grand Cross of the Order of Civil Merit, and Commander By Number of the Order of Isabella the Catholic for extraordinary service to Spain, as well as the Grand Cross of Bernardo O’Higgins of the Order of Merit of Chile which recognises foreign nationals for their outstanding contribution to the arts, sciences, education, industry, trade or social and humanitarian cooperation.
